Opinion: Questions for Democrats, Independents, RINOs and Never Trumpers Featured

Contemplations on today’s world.

We've all heard it for years: my mom and dad, grandma and grandpa and back for generations have been Democrats. They're the party for the working man and woman. That's why I'm a Democrat. There is no arguing with people with this frame of mind. Logic, facts and history make no impact on their thinking or lack thereof.

Now that Donald Trump is President, you can add to that group RINOs, and Never Trumpers. Still, in an attempt to find anyone in those groups who might be persuaded to open their minds, we need to ask our friends, relatives and neighbors who fall into those group, as well as any Independents we know, some salient questions.

Our public elementary, middle and high schools should be teaching reading, writing, arithmetic, history, geography, science, art, English and foreign languages. Do you think time should be taken from these subjects to teach so-called “social justice” subjects such as Mary has two mommies or Drag Queen story hour?

Do you believe that public school students should be banned from wearing or suspended if they wear a shirt with an American flag on it, the theory being that it would offend students with a foreign background?

Is it your belief that the First Amendment allows a religious business owner to refuse service for an order or product that would violate his or her religious beliefs? For instance, should a fundamentalist Christian baker be fined or even jailed if he refused to bake a cake for a gay wedding or devil worshipers' black mass? Should a Jewish florist be fined or jailed for refusing to provide neo-Nazis with flowers for a celebration of Hitler's birthday?

Do you think there are more than two sexes? Do you feel that elementary school children should be taught that, contrary to biology, there are more than two sexes and regardless of their anatomy, they can choose whether they are male or female?

Do you agree with those that want to regulate freedom of speech if it offends certain groups? For example, should someone be fined if he or she refers to people who enter our country unlawfully as “illegal aliens”?

Are you one of the environmentalist fatalists who is preparing for the end of the world in 12 years due to man made carbon pollution? Are you willing to give up your cars, boats and motorcycles and forego air travel in order to stop this alleged pollution?

Regardless of how you feel about the man, Trump, could you honestly say, could you swear on the Bible, the Torah, the Koran, the grave of your mother and/or father, the lives of your children, or anything else you hold dear, that you truly believe that President Trump has received fair and unbiased treatment from the main stream media? Do you believe that the Democrat Party, has acted as a “loyal opposition” and attempted to work with the President to work on the problems facing our country? Is it your opinion that establishment Republicans, many bureaucrats in his own administration and “never Trumpers” of any political affiliation, have not obstructed President Trump at almost every turn?

If the answers to all or most of the above questions is “no”, then you need to reexamine your position on President Trump. You may hate his personality. You may despise his tweets. You might abhor his hair. You might think that his forthrightness is rude and message delivery is crude. None of that matters. Just look at the radical, progressive and social justice tripe in the questions in this article. If you want our country to be fundamentally changed in that direction, keep doing nothing. But if you want to fight the country traveling on that path, then ask your friends, family and neighbors who hate the President those questions. Then, point out to them that there is only one man who can stop this so-called progressive wave and his name is Donald J. Trump and he deserves and needs their support.
