class="">CAMP VERDE, AZ (May 25, 2017) - Get outdoors for a free day of fishing at the annual "Verde Valley Fishing Fun Day." This event is on Saturday, June 3rdfrom 8 a.m. to 12 noon at Dead Horse Ranch State Park. 
Co-sponsored by the Arizona Game and Fish Department, Prescott National Forest, and Arizona State Parks, the event is free to everyone. Participants should check-in at the Dead Horse Ranch State Park office the day of the event.
The day includes free fishing with no fishing license required and several hundred pounds of channel catfish stocked into the lagoon. Fishing poles and fishing bait will be available to those who do not have their own equipment.
